I have made some of my swing tags by hand using paper, card, acetate, string, calico, leather and old photographs. On my other swing tags I have used Photoshop to edit and create different effects.
This design that I created which open and folds would be great for my packaging on a larger scale. If I were to to do it again I would make sure it was appropriate for the size of a garment which could be packaged into a similar shape.
The design above where I have used red leather and an old photograph was one of my first designs where I was going to laser cut BRC on to the front of the swing tag on the leather.
The above swing tag design was made in the style of a book and inside I planned to add photographs from my chosen sport such as different cars and racing drivers.
I made the above design using calico. I didnt really like this design although, I think if I had made it from other material, it would have looked a lot better.
The image below was created on Photoshop and printed on to acetate. This is one of my final ideas which I am going to use over a printed picture so that the picture shows through the acetate and the company is name is shown on the top.
Below is the swing tag I will be using to place under the acetate. Both of them together will become my full swing tag. I created the below image using Photoshop and changing the colour of the image to black and white. I then cut out the flag and dragged it on top of the car then changing the opacity.
Below is the mood board I created using different fonts that I liked and wanted to use for my brand. I chosen the bottom image with the line across the top of the writing as it reminded me of a race track which links into my car racing sport. Also, the writing is capital letters which I think will help it to stand out more.
