This continuous line drawing was used with ink and drawn from the flower.
I wasn't too sure about using this effect but after they were completed and uploaded onto the computer they looked a lot better.
Below are the prints created from brusho paint. This was my favourite technique as the colours merged together and the outcome was always different and unique. On a few of the samples I poured salt onto them to give a different textured look. I always found that when the brusho had dryed completely they looked even better and reminded me different places such as a forest or a beach.
I then used marbelling which was done by using a small bath of water and added different marbel inks then placing the paper on top. This type of effect created prints that reminded me of space and looked to me, the most likely print that could be from under the microscope. Although it was a messy technique it produced some of the most interesting prints.
After using each technique individually I then used them together and placed one on top of the other to give a new effect. I liked experimenting with different techniques together as I found that using more than one gave a more effective look and it was interesting to see the outcome they gave.
